Submission Guidelines

Submission structure and format

Entrants must address all submission questions within the category. Category description and submission questions can be found here.

Individuals and businesses within the finance industry are invited to participate by lodging a submission that showcases their professional performance, leadership capabilities and personal achievements. Submissions in individual categories are automatically entered into the running for the Young Leaders in Finance Excellence Award, which is awarded to the highest-scoring winner across all individual categories.

Entry requirements

  • Entrants must address all submission questions, supply business metrics and attach supporting documents where required. Submissions MUST be lodged online via the awards portal.
  • There is a 400-word limit per question. If you exceed this, the system will not allow you to lodge your submission.
  • Entrants are encouraged to attach supporting material for the judges to strengthen their submission. This material may differ depending on the category and can include images, video, statistics, media coverage and other relevant information. If documents are not relevant to your submission, they will be disregarded.
  • The deadline for entries is 6 April 2018. There are no limitations on how you choose to cover submission criteria, so be creative! However, note that you must cover all key points and answer questions directly, or your submission may be judged negatively.

Supporting material

Please refer to any supporting material in your submission so that the judges can consider it. This material may differ depending on the category, and can include images, video, statistics, media coverage and other relevant information that will strengthen your submission.

Confidentiality

Please note that all submissions are treated with the strictest confidentiality and only viewed by the judging panel. The submission deadline is 6 April 2018. All responses and supporting documents can be uploaded online.

Lodging multiple submissions

If you are lodging submissions for multiple award categories, congratulations! Please take a common-sense approach to creating submissions for multiple categories. While producing an awards submission can be a time-consuming process, there are ways in which you can reduce the work required. For example, you may be able to use the same core submission for a number of different categories, tailored to the specifics of each category.

NOTE: You will still need to lodge separate submission documents online for each award you are entering.
